Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound sharp cheddarcheese – grated
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 3 tsp butter
  • 3 ½ cups milk
  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 ½ tsp dried mustard
  • 3 shakes of WorcestershireSauce
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Plain Bread Crumbs

Instructions
 

  • Boil macaroni to al dente.
  • Put the corn starch in the bottom of a three-quart pot.
  • Pour about a cup of milk into the pot and stir untildissolved.
  • Pour in the rest of the milk, add the pepper, mustard,butter and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Warm milk mixture until butter melts.
  • Sprinkle in grated cheese a little bit at a time giving themilk time to warm up a little in between clumps of cheese.
  • Once all the cheese is in the sauce stir until all of thecheese is melted (5 min)
  • Stir the whole time the milk is in the pan so it does notscorch. Pour macaroni into a 9×13 glass pan sprayed withPam or rubbed with butter
  • Pour the cheese sauce over the macaroni and stir untilevenly distributed in the noodles.
  • Sprinkle with plain bread crumbs until covered but notover done.
  • Bake at 400 for 30 to 45 min or until the top is bubblingand crusty.
