Ingredients
  

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
  • 15 oz pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil or canola oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×5inch loaf pan with non-stick spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda,cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and salt. In a mediumbowl, mix the eggs, granulated sugar and brownsugar together. Whisk in the pumpkin, oil and milk.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredientsand gently mix together. Do not overmix. Fold inthe chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 65-70minutes. The bread is done when a toothpickinserted in the center comes out clean with only afew small moist crumbs. Begin checking every 5minutes at the 55 minute mark or so.
