Ingredients
  

  • 3 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
  • 4 sticks salted butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp pure lemon extract
  • 6 large eggs
  • 6 large egg yolks

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Using a large stand mixer, add butter and let cream for 5 minutesuntil creamy. Then, add the sugar 1 cup at a time on low speed andgradually move speed to medium high and mix for 5 minutes.
  • In a separate large bowl, use a whisk to mix the 6 whole eggs, 6 eggyolks, vanilla extract and lemon extract.
  • Pourthis egg mixture slowly into the sugar and butter mixtureand mix for 1 minute on low speed.
  • Next,sift the flour 3 times and add 1 large spoon at a time to theegg and sugar mixture on low speed. When all the flouris mixedin, adjust the mixing speed to high and mix for 5 minutes.
  • Pour batterinto a greased and floured bundt pan and bake for 72minutes or until a toothpick orskewer comes out clean or with afew crumbs on the stick. Please do not over bake this cake.
