Ingredients
  

  • 8 tbsp butter
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup Frank’s Red hot sauce or wing sauce
  • 2 1/2 cups Chicken, cooked and shredded/pulled

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add butter, carrots,onion, celery, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook for 8-10minutes, until vegetables become fork tender.
  • Add the flour and cook for 5 more minutes, stirring often.Pour the vegetable mixture and chicken broth into ablender or use an immersion blender and blend untilsmooth.
  • Return mixture to pot and add heavy cream and hotsauce over low to medium heat. Add pulled chicken.
  • Let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • To serve, ladle into bowls and top with garnish of choice.
