Ingredients
  

  • Whole chicken, boiled, cooled and shredded
  • 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup hot water (may need to adjust to make astiff dough to work with)
  • Poultry seasoning
  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour, sugar and water to createdough. Roll out thin, and cut into smallsquares, or you can spoon out drop dumplings.
  • Make sure your chicken broth is boiling beforeyou drop your dumplings in one at a time. Onceyou have dropped all dumplings in the pot, boilfor 6 minutes and make sure none stick to thebottom.
  • Now, it is time to add your shredded chicken.Add your seasonings to taste. Stir and simmerfor 30 minutes.
