  • 1 fine sieve
  • 1 Baking tray or universal tray


  • 675 g plain white flour
  • 75 g white spelt flour
  • 120 g softened butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 42 g fresh yeast
  • 400 ml lukewarm milk


  • Sift the flour into a bowl and add thebutter and salt. Dissolve the yeast inthe milk and add to the flour mix.
  • Knead all the ingredients together toform a smooth dough. Shape thedough into a ball, place it in a bowl andcover with a damp cloth. Leave toprove at room temperature for roughly60 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 3 strands. Thenplait the 3 strands and place on thebaking tray or universal tray.
  • Start the Automatic programme or preheat the oven.
  • Place in the oven and bake.
