I buy a bunch of bananas twice a week, and usually eat one before hitting thegym. When I don’t have time to work out, there are a lot of overripe bananassitting on my kitchen counter. So, I freeze them to slow the oxidation process.Frozen bananas make great post-workout smoothies and because I like thetaste so much, I adapted this recipe into guilt-free ice cream.

  • 1 KEJSERLIG Bowl
  • 1 MITTBIT Place mat
  • 1 KALAS Spoon

Ingredients

  • Overripe bananas

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 overripe peeled bananas, frozen
  • ¼ cup (67 g) peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) coconut oil
  • ¼ tbsp (½ g) grated nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Remove the bananas from the freezer andcut them into ¼-inch (½ cm) medallions.
  • In a blender or food processor, blend thebananas, peanut butter, coconut oil, andnutmeg for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Let sit for 2 to 3 minutes, and thencontinue blending to a smoothconsistency.
  • Pour the mixture into an enclosedcontainer and put in the freezer for 1 hour.
  • Scoop and enjoy.
