Ingredients
  

  • 2 cooker cups Arborio rice
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups cooking cream
  • 1 whole vanilla bean, halved & seedsscraped
  • ²⁄³ cup white sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt flakes please
  • 2 whole cinnamon sticks
  • ¼ tsp flaked nutmeg
  • Maple syrup or honey to serve(optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to the cooking pot of therice cooker. Select the Risotto function and pressStart/Stop.
  • When there are 15 minutes remaining, a tonewill sound. At this point, open the lid, stirmixture and determine if the pudding is doneto your liking. If the consistency is desirable,press Start/Stop. If, at this point, the puddingis too stiff or dry, stir in additional milk orwater, close lid, and allow to cook for theremainder of the function time.
  • Once the audible tone has sounded toindicate the end of cooking, open the lid,remove the cinnamon sticks and stir well. Thispudding can be served warm or chilled.
