Course Appetizer

Ingredients
  

  • 6 asparagus spears, cut on the bias/on an angle into 3cm pieces
  • ½ medium carrot, cut into juliennestrips
  • ½ cup sliced snow peas
  • 300 g medium green prawns (deveined) ,Fresh lemon juice
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
  • Flaked salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Add water to the Steam level in the cookingpot of the rice cooker.
  • Mix the vegetables together then place themon the Steaming Tray. Top with the shrimp,insert steaming tray into cooking pot and closelid.
  • Select the Steam function and set timer for 15minutes. Press Start/Stop.
  • Once the audible tone sounds, immediatelytransfer steamed prawns and vegetables to aserving bowl and toss with a little lemon juice,oil and parsley. Season to taste with the saltand pepper.
