Marinara Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 2-4 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 1/4 Lb Mushrooms
  • 3-4 Cloves Garlic, Peeled
  • 2 (28 Oz) Can Tomatoes
  • 1 (6 Oz) Can Tomato Paste
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Basil
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Oregano
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Thyme
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar Or Honey
  • 2 Tbsp Butter (Optional)
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Use 1/4 amount of herbs if dried

Instructions
 

  • Chop onion, pepper, mushrooms, and garlic usingthe Food Processor. Chop herbs and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in frying pan and sauté vegetablesfor 30- 60 seconds.
  • Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, butter andherbs then bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer covered for at least 20minutes or up to 3 hours for deeper flavor.
