POACHED PEAR AND CINNAMON PORRIDGE

Course Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pears
  • A pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 tsp sweetener
  • 1/4 cup Almond Breeze Unsweetened
  • 6 walnuts and 4 strawberries

Instructions
 

  • Peel pears and add them to apan of boiling water, spiced withcinnamon, nutmeg,cloves and honey.
  • Allow pears to boil until soft(approx 10-15 minutes).
  • Place 1/2 cup of traditional rolledoats into another pot and add boilingwater until it covers the oats.
  • Bring to boil, stirring continuously.
  • Add sweetener and 1/4 cup ofAlmond Breeze Unsweetened.
  • Add oats to a bowl and top withpoached pear and walnuts.
